VirtualCarHub.com ("VirtualCarHub," "we," "us," or "our") operates a buyer-side wholesale vehicle acquisition service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using VirtualCarHub, you agree to the practices described here and in our Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including:

• Account information — name, email address, phone number, and password when you create a Garage account.
• Vehicle preferences — budget, feature priorities, saved vehicles, searches, and messages you exchange with Danny, our AI deal advisor.
• Pre-qualification and financing information — income, housing, trade-in, and related details you submit when you request pre-qualification or a credit application. Credit applications are processed by licensed lending partners; we do not store full Social Security numbers on our servers.
• Documents — driver's license, insurance, and similar documents you upload to complete a purchase.
• Communications preferences — your transactional and marketing consent choices, with a timestamped record of each consent you give.

We also collect limited technical information automatically (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) to keep the service secure and improve it.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To operate your Garage account, match you with vehicles, and manage your purchase from search to delivery.
• To verify your identity, including SMS verification during pre-qualification.
• To send transactional messages (account alerts, verification codes, service reminders, and deal updates) if you have opted in to receive them.
• To send marketing messages (such as new listings that match your search and special offers) only if you have separately opted in to marketing communications.
• To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse.

3. SMS/Text Messaging Consent

Consent to receive text messages is collected through separate, optional checkboxes: one for transactional messages and one for marketing messages. Neither consent is a condition of creating an account or purchasing a vehicle. Message frequency may vary and message & data rates may apply. You can reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time.

SMS opt-in consent and the phone numbers collected for SMS purposes are not shared with, sold to, or rented to any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes under any circumstances. This information is shared only with the SMS service providers that deliver messages on our behalf.

4. How We Share Information

We share personal information only as needed to provide the service:

• Lending partners — when you submit a pre-qualification or credit application, the information in that application is shared with the licensed lenders you ask us to work with.
• Service providers — companies that help us run VirtualCarHub, such as messaging and email delivery providers, customer-relationship tools, vehicle transport carriers, and inspection partners. They may use your information only to perform services for us.
• Legal requirements — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of VirtualCarHub or others.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data Retention and Security

We retain account and consent records for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, audit, and dispute-resolution purposes. We use industry-standard safeguards — including encrypted transport, hashed passwords, and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Choices

• You can update your name and phone number in your Garage profile at any time.
• You can grant transactional or marketing consent after registration from the Communication Preferences card in My Garage, and withdraw SMS consent at any time by replying STOP.
• You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at info@virtualcarhub.com. We will honor applicable data-privacy rights under the laws of your state.

7. Children's Privacy

VirtualCarHub is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
